Victoria Shanklin was held at gunpoint while leaving a friend’s birthday party. The justice system’s response sparked a passion to create change and help others in similar circumstances.

In the United States, it’s Crime Victim’s Right’s Week April 18-24 this year. The other 51 weeks of the year, however, appear to forget victims of crime.

See show notes here.   Find Victoria at Victimsforjustice.org, and don’t hesitate to donate, volunteer, or find other ways to support crime victims.

April 18-24 is the National Crime Victims Rights Week in the United States.
