Lynne Podrat wasn’t supposed to hear the conversation about her baby brother having Down’s Syndrome many decades ago. As a teenager, she wasn’t supposed to intervene in her parent’s plan to place him in a home for children with disabilities.

But she did.
And from those early days, Lynne learned to become a fierce advocate for her brother, and for others experiencing disabilities.

You will learn:
The positive impact Lynne’s brother made, not only on her, but the world around him.
* Why it’s important that schools and workplaces to welcome people with disabilities.
* That many people feel awkward or even scared of people different than themselves.                               BIO: Lynne Podrat is a former educator and school principal and author of Listen to Me: How My Down Syndrome Brother Saved Me.
